Spring Lands at The Edgemoor Hotel – New Spring Menu Now Available!

We are very excited to now be serving our Spring Menu here at The Edgemoor Hotel. The kitchen team have been working long and hard to bring a new menu with a bang; one that oozes the beautiful scent, taste and sight of the Spring season that we are experiencing here in Devon and Dartmoor right now. We wanted to mirror the change in seasons: those longer, lighter evenings and the fragrant smell of blossom that fills the air. That’s exactly what the chefs have managed to capture in the new Spring menu.

Highlights from the starters include Vodka & Beetroot Gravadlax made with Black Cow Vodka which is produced in neighbouring Dorset, Dartmouth Potted Crab caught just 20 minutes away from the hotel and made down the road in the Newton Abbot, Baked Field Mushroom which is foraged from the nearby Devon woodland and a Homemade Green Pesto & Asparagus Tart.

Our favourites from the Main Course Menu include Devon Pork Tenderloin, sourced from XXX Farm on Dartmoor, Homemade Lamb, Garlic & Rosemary Burger made with local Devon Pork. Then we had a King Prawn, Lemon & Pea Risotto served with mixed salad. Not to mention our household favourites of Westcountry Chateau Briand, Pie of the Day, Fillet Steak and Fish & Chips.
