We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you on the steps we are taking here at the Edgemoor:
Coronavirus symptoms – All staff will be temperature checked before each shift and all guests will be temperature checked upon check in, anyone with symptoms or someone in their household who has symptoms will self-isolate in line with PHE guidelines. Similarly, we would ask all guests to delay their travel plans if showing symptoms and should they become unwell during their stay to act according to the latest Government guidelines at the time. The security and protection of our staff and other guests is paramount.
Social Distancing – We will be limiting the rooms sold to 10 to enable us to maintain social distancing. Each room will be allocated a table, and this will remain the same for the duration of the weekend. All tables in the restaurant are 2 meters apart with the bar tables being 1.5 meters apart.
Enhanced Cleaning – All public areas will be sanitised and cleaned after each shift. However, the public toilets will be closed as guests will be encouraged to use their own bedroom toilet
Disinfection Stations – Stations will be provided throughout the hotel for guests and members of staff.
Staff Protective Equipment – You may see some staff wearing enhanced protective equipment where necessary.
Reception – On check-in and check-out we would ask that guests are patient and observe distancing should there be other guests waiting. Keys should be left in the bedroom door lock on checkout.
Guests will be asked to USE CARD PAYMENTS ONLY– we will not be taking any cash; card machines will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after each guest use. Payments for food and drink will be put to your room.
Bedrooms – once you have checked out on the Monday, we ask that you leave the windows and doors open. The room will then be left empty for 3 days and cleaned on Thursday ready for new guests. We have enhanced cleaning of high touch point areas, including handles, switches, remote controls, and high contact furniture. Cleaning is already conducted to a high standard within the rooms.
BEDROOM ENTRY RESTRICTED
No access will be made to the bedroom during a guest stay. Staff will only enter the bedroom on the guest’s request, to fix a reported maintenance issue. If a member of staff is requested to enter a bedroom whilst the room is occupied the team member will be wearing PPE and the guest will be asked to leave the room so social distancing can be maintained. Rooms will not be serviced during your stay, if you need anything then you can contact reception
We have reduced our cancellation period to 48 hours before arrival. Additionally, should you cancel within this time we will move your booking to a future stay at no cost to you. All bookings must be made directly with the hotel to enjoy these special terms.
